Himanshu Pahuja

Community Radio Team
(Jun 2012 - Aug 2012)

I am pursuing Bachelors of Journalism & Mass Communication from the Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), Vasant Kunj (http://www.jimsd.org/). Besides my regular course of study, I have also done courses in design and graphics software like Quark Xpress and Adobe; am interested in photography and following work related to video, writing scripts, reporting, sound recording, as well as audio and video editing. I love dance, listening to music and eager to spot new ideas.

It was an enriching experience working with OneWorld’s Community Radio team as an intern on audio and video editing and recording as well as writing scripts.

Media Team
(Jul 2012 - Aug 2012)

I am pursuing my graduation in Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication from Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), IP University (http://www.jimsd.org/). Am currently in the third semester and keenly follow interests like radio, event management and interacting with people.

I enjoyed my work and experience at One World South Asia which provided me with a great learning experience and also gave me my first exposure to office environment. I really wish that I can join back the organisation once again in the future.

Media Team
(Jul 2012 - Aug 2012)

During my summer vacation, I was earnestly looking out for an internship and my dream job was supposed to have people, fun, lot of tasks, satisfaction and learning... fortunately OneWorld picked me from the campus and from there it was all about learning in a friendly environment and amazing people to stick around with.

I am doing Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication from the Jagannath Institute of Management (JIMS) (http://www.jimsd.org/) and have a strong inclination towards photography and design. With so much to discover, I am happy to be a keen learner. If you show a passion for what you are doing, OWSA will find a way to help your talent grow!

Another thing I like about OneWorld is that working here is fun, even when you are dealing with difficult situations or unexpected things. There is always someone to reach out to for help. It was both a pleasure and honour to be a part of One World South Asia.

Community Radio Team
(Jul 2012 - Aug 2012)

Currently a high school student at Walt Whitman High School in Maryland, USA, and will be starting class 12 this year. During the summer I pursued my interest in the development sector through an internship with OneWorld. I am working with the media team in maintaining the EDAA website. I am contributing by updating articles, events and general information on the site as well as editing some of the existing content.

In the process of working with OneWorld, I learnt a lot about community radio in India and its significant role in bringing about social development to the people.
