Abha Negi is Managing Director at OneWorld Foundation India. She is also Chairperson, Global Forum for Empowerment. Rooting for equitable access to public resources and opportunities in education, services, employability and leisure for all including, persons with disabilities and the elderly, Global Forum for Empowerment works in three verticals comprising of public infrastructure including transportation, education, skill development and services for people with developmental disabilities. She is a former Director of Svayam – an initiative of SJ Charitable Trust. She was also a Board of Director at ARUNIM, which facilitated creative enterprises of persons with developmental disabilities. She is also a Member of Transport Research Board USA (TRB) ABE 60 Committee. She has over two decades of experience across industries like mining, infrastructure, transportation and hospitality with strategic focus on media management, public relations and brand building, brand management and CSR communications.


Bijoy Basant Patro is a communication specialist with over 15 years of experience with the humanitarian and development sector. He has previously worked with the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) for 10 years and was engaged in monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the work of the IFRC in South Asia, including in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives. He also helped establish and coordinate the first UN-led Inter Agency Group in Odisha. He has also worked as a programme coordinator, representing the Red Cross at the highest levels in Nepal, where he worked as a delegate to manage the relief work caused by Kosi flood. He is also a former Head of Programmes at OneWorld Foundation India.


Mukul Sharma is Professor of Development Communication, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, which is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. He has also been a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford; the London School of Economics, and the Mahidol University, Thailand. He was also Director of Heinrich Boell Foundation in India and has also worked at South Asian and regional levels with ActionAid International and AIDS Society of Asia and Pacific, based in Bangkok. His previous assignment was as South Asia Regional Director of Climate Parliament. A Delhi-based scholar, writer and development professional, he has received 12 national and international awards for his writing. He has published 16 books and booklets in English and Hindi.


Rajiv Tikoo is a New Delhi-based development communication professional of more than two decades with a proven track record in senior management positions in reputed regional, national and international organisations like the OneWorld Group, United Nations Millennium Campaign, the Indian Express Group, and the India Today Group. His academic background is in social and sustainable development. Besides, he has got fellowships from Geneva-headquartered International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies; Panos South Asia, and the University of Cambridge. He is also a Member of the Governing Board of Women’s Feature Service (WFS); Lokvani Committee of Prasar Bharati; CII National Committee on Industry-Civil Society Interface; ASSOCHAM National Council on Climate Change; and Advisory Board at Jagannath International Management School.


Rakhee Bakshee is a well known broadcasting professional with over 15 years of experience in public sphere. She is a Senior TV Show Host on Rajya Sabha TV hosting a popular show titled ‘The Quest’. She was also the Director of Women’s Feature Service, an exclusive women’s organization based in Delhi. She is also a faculty at Makhanlal Chaturvedi University of Journalism and Communication. A former Media Adviser to the Speaker, Lok Sabha, Parliament of India, she has also worked on important legislative activities in the Parliament. With her deep interest in matters of governance, social issues, education, culture and cinema, she has been recognized and awarded on several occasions. She has been an eminent speaker at several prestigious events and workshops.
